The time values shown at the bottom of the MacPing window reflect the current time measurements for the devices under test. All time values are in milliseconds (msec). The following values are shown:
Average: This is the average response time for the selected devices. The average does not include the times of devices which fail to respond.
Min: This is the minimum response time seen while sampling.
Max: This is the maximum response time seen while sampling.
Timeout: This is the current no-response time. If Automatic is checked (see Adjust Timers…), the Timeout is set to 150% of the maximum measured response.
If you click on any of the times, the Max, Min and Timeout values will be reset to the current average time: they will then change to reflect newly sampled values.
